If we’re getting into anecdotal stuff Burniston, we’ve all probably seen examples of the ‘punch-drunk’ boxer. It doesn’t seem much of a stretch to compare repeatedly heading a heavy leather ball (as was) with punches to .the head. I’m sure aspects of modern life aren’t great for health either but sometimes the obvious is just that, repeated blows to the head are probably best avoided. I’m guessing that some people/skulls are different to others and it will be comparatively safe for many but not for some? But how to know?
