Presumably the ones to the left of the stand as you look from the pitch are for away fans, as per original design, when segregation is in place.

Are we to assume when segregation is not in place that only the two other sets will be used, one for pedestrians from Seamer Road (under the bridge), and the others for those arriving from the CU/UTC/Ashburn Road direction?

Yes. We will just have to see how many we need open as the season moves forward but that roughly the plan going forward.

Does this ground really hold 2,000? Serious question. 250 seated. 1,750 on terraces?

I guess 15th July friendly will tell all, we have never seen Queensgate with it’s “full" 3000 capacity so presumably it will be one of those “can’t really move anywhere" type of situations like you sometimes get at really crowded gigs.

Easily holds 2,000. by Malton Seadog User: Malton Seadog

The terrace behind the goal holds 350 I think, so once you’ve taken the seats off that too, it leaves 1,400 for the other two sides, plus either side of the main stand.

Look back at pictures/videos of Queensgate against Ossett Town when over 1,000 were in attendance. There were still large patches of empty terracing. It’s surprising how many people can pack into a small ground.
